How do I recover my vehicle?
If you ever find yourself embroiled in an incident or accident that involves your vehicle getting toppled off-road, you will be in need of vehicle recovery. Vehicle recovery will commonly involve the use of a commercial carrier known as a recovery vehicle, tow truck or spectacle lift. If you find yourself entangled in an incident, you have to get in touch with emergency services and have a tow truck come and rescue your vehicle from an accident position and take it to the garage to be repaired.
There are typically five main methods of vehicle recovery; soft with a rope or chain, rigid with a solid metal bar (both this and the former are for very short distances), lift tow (suspended crane) to move disabled vehicles, lift (underlift) which is most common, and transportation (total lift) which is preferable for long-distance recovery hauls. You might have some variations that come with a multitude of additional equipment such as power units to supply air for power tools (consult your mechanic for a comprehensive list), but these aforementioned five are the main types of vehicle recovery you will see.
